7 Children, 2 Women Killed In Yemen Air Strike: UN Agency

NDTV News– “Seven children and two women were killed in an air raid in northwest Yemen, a UN agency said Monday, as Riyadh said it intercepted missiles fired by Yemeni Huthi rebels.”
“The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) also said another two women and two children were wounded in Monday’s raid in Hajjah governorate.”
“The province near the capital Sanaa is a battlefront between Huthi rebels and pro-government forces backed by a Saudi-led coalition that provides air support.”
“Initial reports… indicate that on 12 July an airstrike killed seven children and two women in Washhah district of Hajjah governorate,” OCHA said.
