‘For 90 minutes, you have to be a bunch of c****’ – Astonishing moment Jose Mourinho tells Tottenham players to get nasty in leaked Amazon documentary footage
Tottenham’s Amazon documentary is becoming one of the most talked about football films ever. It’s not even out yet…
It’s been quite a season in north London with the club deciding to sack manager Mauricio Pochettino less than six months after he guided them to the Champions League final in June 2019.
And in an even more surprising turn of events, chairman Daniel Levy hired Jose Mourinho as his replacement.
For years, Mourinho was seen as a rival to Spurs fans when he was in charge at Chelsea and Manchester United. Now, it’s his job to bring silverware to a club that’s made a habit of just falling short when going for the top prizes in recent years.
Amid all this, as well as some good and a few painfully bad results on the pitch, filming has been going on for the club’s ‘All or Nothing’ series.
It’s not entirely clear when the documentary will be released but with the 2019/20 season due to end later this month, fans are gearing up to see the series which will be jam-packed with twists and turns.
But the Twitter account @Simply_Spurs have treated fans to some leaked footage of Mourinho not holding back during a team meeting with the Spurs players.
It’s not clear what match Mourinho is giving the players a pep talk for but the Portuguese can be heard telling them to be ‘a bunch of c****’ for the 90 minutes.
He said: “You need to communicate. Maybe I’m wrong… I honestly feel you are a really nice group of guys.
“But for 90 minutes you cannot be nice. For 90 minutes you have to be a bunch of c****. Intelligent c****, not stupid c****.”
