Jesy Nelson brushes off panic attack live on stage as she shares sassy Instagram snap
Little Mix star Jesy Nelson was seen brushing off her recent panic attack and moving forward, as she shared a stunning and oh so sassy Instagram snap with fans.
The singer, 29, was seen breaking down in tears while performing with Little Mix for Radio One’s Live Lounge, with Jesy later explaining to fans that she had suffered a panic attack on stage.
But determined to put it all behind her, Jesy was seen looking nothing but fierce as she shared a gorgeous snap of her behind-the-scenes with fans.
She was all dolled up in a racer-inspired mini dress and laced-up boots, and popped one hip while rocking her sleek blonde bob.
Jesy captioned the snap with a series of motorbike emojis and it definitely grabbed attention, with the star’s boyfriend Sean Sagar leaving a very thirsty comment underneath her post.
Clearly smitten with the new lady in his life, Our Girl star Sean gushed: ‘Omg! Can you just come home please ☺️😍❤️.’
Jesy’s bandmate Jade Thirlwall joked: ‘Credit to the caption creator: me.’
Plenty of Little Mix fans were all for the snap and many just couldn’t resist commenting with Jesy’s apt line from the girlband’s hit Power, with one follower posting: ‘motorbike, motorbike, motorbike, motorbike, bike, bike, bike, bike, bikebikebikebikebike, whooo! you look gorgeous!’
On Tuesday, Jesy left fans concerned after she was seen in tears on stage during Little Mix’s Live Lounge performance.
Jesy was comforted by her bandmates, as they stopped mid performance and she later explained to fans that ‘nerves had got the better of me’.
Addressing what had happened, Jesy shared rehearsal footage of Little Mix singing a cover of Harry Styles’ track Falling.
She wrote: ‘Rehearsals. So my nerves got the better of me today and I had panic attack right before we were about to sing this for live lounge today and like a pro @perrieedwards jumped in for my part last minute and smashed it 😇 this is what we originally did in rehearsals ❤️.’
Fans quickly rushed to Jesy’s support, sharing how proud they are of her for being so honest about her anxiety, while Radio One host Clara Amfo praised Jesy for her ‘transparency’.
Clara commented: ‘What I saw today was TRUE sisterhood, salute to you Jesy for your transparency with your fans and to your girls. You’re ALWAYS welcome! 💛 xx.’
The group’s performance comes after Little Mix were forced to cancel their tour due to coronavirus, despite still being busy releasing new music and dropping new single Holiday.
While in lockdown, Jade had told Metro.co.uk that it was a shock to the system for the girls to slow up as their working schedules came to a halt amid the pandemic.
‘It was really bizarre to just sort of have to press pause and not do anything, because we are so used to just being on the go 24/7,’ she explained.
‘We see each other all the time and we’ve got used to that cycle of work, so for it all to stop it was a bit like “oh, how do I live a normal life?” I’m not used to being in my own apartment for this amount of time!’
