USMNT vs. Bosnia & Herzegovina time, TV, streaming, lineup news for friendly
The US Men’s National Team concludes a stellar year with a friendly against Bosnia & Herzegovina on Saturday.
Across 2021, the USMNT won the Gold Cup, the CONCACAF Nations League, and it is sitting in second place in CONCACAF World Cup qualifying table. The squad beat rivals Mexico three times in a calendar year and won 16 times to just three draws and two defeats.
The United States has never won 17 games in a single calendar year, already matching the program’s record set in 2013. It is undefeated in two all-time matches against Bosnia: a 4-3 win in 2013 (Jozy Altidore hat trick) and a 0-0 draw in 2018.

The year-end friendly will feature almost entirely domestic-based players, with three players plying their trade overseas: Johnny Cardoso (Internacional / Brazil), Taylor Booth (Bayern Munich II / Germany) and Bryan Reynolds (AS Roma / Italy).

USA vs. Bosnia & Herzegovina: Lineups
For the United States, nearly the entire roster is made up of domestic players. There will be plenty of fresh faces for casual USMNT fans, especially at fullback as manager Gregg Berhalter confirmed that a pair of Atlanta United stars will see the field. George Bello will earn his sixth cap while Brooks Lennon will make his USMNT debut.
Berhalter said that among the newer players, Brooks Lennon and Henry Kessler have had good camps. He notes that Lennon will start at RB and that George Bello will start at LB vs. Bosnia. He also notes that before leaving camp, Kevin Paredes played as a winger. #USMNT

Ricardo Pepi is expected to be deployed up front with another opportunity to log some more experience as Berhalter continues to rely on him as the lead striker for the United States. Caden Clark, who will head to RB Leipzig shortly, could also make his USMNT debut and Jordan Morris could also return to the side after his ACL tear back in April.

For Bosnia, it begins the process of licking its wounds after missing out on Euro 2021. The entire roster is comprised of domestic Bosnian Premijer Liga call-ups, with a total of eight senior caps between the 19 players selected.
This is very much a trial run for manager Ivaylo Petev who is still in his first year on the job. Petev confirmed that there were some players he was forced to leave off the roster due to their vaccination status, but he did not name them individually.
